Where can I locate two new motor mounts like the broken one pictured here. They have 2 bolts going horizontal into the clutch bell housing and one in the bottom into the frame. These are for the 48 COE 2 ton truck. Most places only list ones for a pickup or panel but not for big trucks. I don't know if there's a difference
Parts geek said they didn't have them but the picture I found looked the same, maybe it was lighter built. Thanks

I believe those are the same as the mounts for the pickup.
Check your PM's

[on edit]Here's a clip from the 1929-1954 Parts catalog. It says that the mounts are different between 1/2 ton and bigger trucks. But the hole spacing on the frames are the same on all size trucks in the FAM (which is 1954 based). The 1954 engine mounts are different as are the bell housings. But the bell housings are the same from 47-53 so the engine mounts would all bolt to the bell housing.

Some resources where you can find reproduction and/or NOS mounts:

The Filling Station Reproduction of GM# 3702198 - $44.95 pair

Chev's of the 40's Reproduction of GM # 3702198 = $31.50 each

NOS GM# 3702173 = $15.73 each (4 available as of this posting)

These are just some of those available and waiting for you to make them yours. wink
