Looking for suggestions on what I should work on next. I almost have my frame build completed. I finished the rear axle today and only need to swap out the ball bearings for roller bearing on the front axle. I have brakes installed, but no brakes lines yet. I have lever shocks and brake lines to install, but should I install the engine and transmission first? Are brakes lines easier to install with the engine out? Is there a check-off list of an order I should follow to make it easier, so something I do now doesn't get in the way of something down the road? Thanks for any feedback or suggestions.

I was planning to: 1) Work on the lever shocks, 2) Install new brake lines, 3) Install engine and transmission,...

1) Work on the lever shocks, 2) Install new brake lines, 3) Install engine and transmission Yes

Then cab.wheels and tires for a roller. pedals, steering, park brake, gas tank and plumbing to carb, ..... then a new order of install will emerge. Wiring is almost dead last. Are body parts/cab to be painted? Any aftermarker, non orig parts? I have not read all your other posts so may be asking things already answered.

What harness are you going to use? 12V conversion? All rust repairs done?

Thanks guys! Glad to know I'm on the right track. No painting of body parts - planning to keep it looking like an old farming truck. I have a new wiring harness and was planning to convert to 12-volts. But that was 20 years ago and now I might keep it 6-volts. Plenty of time to figure that one out. Also, I have a 235 and keeping my 4-speed manual transmission.

Update: It will be 12-volt.

Now looking for help on next steps - I have finally installed the cab to the frame and bolted it down. I have these to install: dash, steering, radiator and support rods, front fenders, grill, hood,... What order is best? Still wondering if someone has a check list and order of build that makes sense to follow??
