I got the cab in satin black and I had 2 sever runs at the point were the drives A pillar meets the cowl. I could not live with it so I wet sanded with 600 grit. I was going to use the body line at the bottom of the pillar as a stopping point. I touched the pillar with 600 and now I am at the point were what little knowledge and experience I have I do not know what to do.I could use some help.The first picture is the damaged A pillar.
I'd sand again with 1200 or 1500 grit and then shoot it again. The satin will probably blend pretty well.
I'm sure others with more experience will weigh in as well.

The amount of sheen may be slightly different when you re-spray, try to plan on painting a panel with definitive separation lines that you can tape off.
