Doesn't anyone have any lies to tell or have any crap on anyone to share?

Well... we're still about 2 weeks out from getting internet hooked up here in our new hq/mountain top lair... and doing internet via phone on 1 bar is tedious.... so I'm sorry to be remiss and derelict in my stirring up crap duties...

Anyway, a big shout out to Mike B, Mike R, Sweet, Blaine, RoverDan, Andre, Paul and Erik for their help in making this big move happen.

The ODSS brotherhood rocks!

Well I bet all them fellers have good internet where they live. Surely there must be some colorful stories of that moving adventure.
It's kindly like being the Maytag repairman in here.
Oh yah, they say "kindly" out that way John.
My wife's Granny once said to my wife about her new sister-in -law that, "I believe she's kindly allergic to you hun." Meaning that she wasn't ready to warm up to her quite yet.
When they listen to you talk, they won't say it, but they'll probably think that you talk too fast and it was as though you didn't have a mouthful of river rocks, and how come he moves his lips and tongue so much when he talks?

Yep.
I haven't lost any hair at all. A lot of it did migrate to my ears, nose, eyebrows and back.
Like my Grandpa always said, "Less hair to comb, but more face to warsh."

I’m actually doing some work occasionally on my wife’s 88 Grand Wagoneer. Replacing the water pump in between rain drops and sub cold temps. So, it’s taking me a while.
But I’m still turning wrenches!

But he did run out of fuel....................
Pt. Carl - est. 2024

One of the highlights of a year soon coming to a close. I was part of the HQ Logistical Operation. Many stories to be told, however in order to make this a full story, our Founding Couple need to get plugged back into the world to start the fun. Last I chatted with either of them, it's still a few days away. That is also what they said when I was there a month ago......

Dang Sarge! I have always been the ultimate gentleman to you all these years.
But then, I only pick on people that I like... (Insert the Milliman coffee drinking emoji guy here.)

Its been a long day. The crew showed up about 10 am to get the internet connected. I spent a good bit of the rest of the day getting the WiFi set up, Peggy's computer finally unpacked and set up, online and connected to the network. Then ... remapping the NAS (wherein EVERYTHING Stovebolt resides ...) to the network ...

So Peggy finally got back online and spent the afternoon "flight testing" the network and as she would find something, I dealt with it until she was hitting on all 6! About 3 pm, I finally got outside and did some farm work -- mainly in the barn. The move crew will remember the four stalls on the south side. I've named them the Boteler, Blaine, Sweet and Roache Suites. Today was removing the door, wall and manger in the Boteler Suite. And I have wired the generator into the panel so I have light in the barn. smile I even replaced the alternator in the '73 IH using the barn lights. smile

I'll start a new thread in the morning with pictures about the actual move. And then the mayhem can ensue.

I'm not sure how I should take having a barn stall named in my honor thinking

Dirt floors, dried up cow pies and cobwebs is not my idea of a fancy suite... eeeek

Glad you're back with us as it's been lonely without you here!
