Hello everyone, I’m happy to be apart of this truck enthusiast Family , I'm 66 years old and retired. Two weeks ago I purchased an all original 1952 Chevy 1/2 ton. I bought it from a guy who had it for sale in Pa. at the Classic Auto Mall. It has always been on my wish list since I was a young boy to someday own one of these Beautiful trucks. I drove it around for days with a big smile on my face. Can’t wait to share the passion with everyone and learn so much about this whole new world of vintage trucks.

WOW Gary, that truck sure is sweet! Love the color. I don't blame you one bit driving around with a huge grin on your face. Congratulations on your 52. Welcome to the forum & hello from California.

Welcome to Stovebolt and congrats on your fantastic truck. Consider yourself at home here on the bolt. Any questions just ask them in the garage forums and we'll do the rest.
Wow is right. That’s a little creampuff. Welcome to Stovebolt Gary. The good news is, your permagrin will wear off after you’ve driven your truck for about 40 years.
Welcome to the ‘Bolt! What a beautiful truck! I also have a ‘52 3100 that I’m in the process of restoring. You’ll get all the help you need on this forum and all you need to do is ask!
Let me give you this helpful guide to help you navigate thru the different forums on Stovebolt.
Again welcome to the ‘Bolt!

Welcome Gary! I have to say I love the color too. Those doubled up tail lights will surely help let folks know from behind when you are hitting the whoa pedal. Interesting touch! Looking forward to seeing and hearing more about your truck in the forums.

John, Nice Job on that picture. [on edit] Looking again at the original, you also got rid of the reflections of the photographer on the hubcaps too. Awesome.

Gosh, that is one beautiful truck you have there. You say that this is a'52, all original 1/2 ton. That has me wondering, with the floor shift. I have a '50 3100 with 3 on the tree. I thought that floor shifts went away sometime before '50. Just wondering---anyhoo beautiful ride you have.
