Sam's Club, right?
I thought about it, then settled for an Ingersol Rand 80 gal 5 hp single stage from Tractor Supply Store (check the web, might be in your area). It does 18.1 cfm at 90 psi, which will do most anything. It's pretty quiet and smooth, rated to run 24 hours a day, and has an entirely cast iron block as opposed to a sleve on the delta. The kicker is it's 699 regular with an extra 10% for using their store card from time to time, making the net price $629. Sure I max out at 135 vs the 175 the delta will do, but I'm getting higher vollume at all levels. How often do you really need more than 90 psi anyway?
I've had it almost 2 years, haven't used it as much as I would like, but love it.
There are better ones out there for specific needs, but I paint, sandblast, snad, cut, wrench, and all the other things I need to do and have yet to wish for more.
Some guys hate I/R because they mandate synthetic oil. I found a clearance at Home Depot and bought several I/R kits for a discontinued model, got a complete oil change and an air filter for under $20. I can't ask for much more.
Good luck and happy shopping! Enjoy your new compressor whatever you get.
