Just wanted to share…Tore the front end off the other day to start a lot of cleanup and repair on the ‘37. She’s definitely in more pieces than put together but it feels like progress. Got the side of the engine all wire wheeled, cleaned, painted and side cover reinstalled. I ended up getting a tube of “right stuff” rtv to try. Valve cover is just set on loose, but notice those aftermarket pat pending breathers some PO brazed on! Only those that have gone through this stage can appreciate baby steps.

They didn’t open up the original slits, just brazed these in top for ugly eye candy like the sixteen year old nerdy kid at school in our day taping a cut coffee can for a hood scoop on his old beater. lol
