Fibinachu, that is exactly the reason I don't buy cars that have been modified by others. I have no idea what's been done to it, what parts are used, and the shop manual won't help. I've always thought that people should document every single modification to a car in the manner you describe.

Well, I'm still waiting for my Mustang II raised spindles from Hotrod Hardware. I check in every month or so and am told they should be available soon. In the meantime, I'm getting used to looking at the truck being pretty low in the front and wondering maybe if I should have just focused on lowering the rear. Lots of other projects in the meantime, but still...

As to not buying cars modified by others, I'm much more OK with it if it's a car I'm familiar with. I've owned a number of Austin Healeys, still do come to think of it, and when a "new" one comes to me with modifications, I usually know exactly what it is and why it was done. Sometimes it's a real bonus.

Still waiting for Mustang II raised spindles from Hot Rod Hardware. Probably time to pull the plug after 13 months and ask for a refund, unless somebody here has something encouraging to say.

That seems a long wait. Have you contacted the company? And if so, what did they say?

Contacted them once a month for the first six months or so, let it go to a couple of months after that. Nice guys, just couldn't get the parts from their suppliers.

I'd still like to get the truck a little higher off the ground, but I've gotten used to seeing it low, so maybe I should put wheels and tires on the back matching the fronts and lower the rear a little. Come to think of it, all the trucks like mine I've seen with Mustang II front ends are pretty low in the front.

Is the Mustang II IFS bolted or welded into the truck? If bolted, could you add an inch or two of spacers to bring it up? A little higher means a little more ground clearance so it's easier to drive in parking lots etc.

Good looking ride, either way.
