I took this side apart months ago, then the bike shop got busy and the painted parts got to cure out in the sun all summer.. now I'm finally getting to putting things back together and POR15 coating the frame. While here, I also need to make the new steel hard line from the gas tank. I'm excited to get the frame beneath it painted, so the new one won't rot away from the rust beneath it. Every job snowballs on an old rig, if you want to do it right.
I do seem to have lost the lower brake shoe spring that goes right above the adjuster, that is unobtainable new as far as I can tell. I used a short retractor spring as a placeholder, but should find the right one before putting it all back together.
I had to buy new grade 8 bolts because the old ones got destroyed while removing them. The tables I downloaded suggest 129ft/lbs as max torque for 9'16" fine thread grade 8 bolts, so I torqued them down to 120 and then used the Rolls Royce tech method of cotter key installation where you twist the spread ends 90 degrees from the ring end.

A little research finds your front axle brake shoe adjuster spring is Parts Group 5.026, GM# 1416760 (Chevrolet Master Parts Book extract in 1st pic below) to fit your 1965 with C60 and 5,000 lb front axle (info from some of your previous posts).
A quick web search resulted in this box of 3 springs offered for really small $. Pic of the springs is 2nd one below for anyone interested. Since you will have a couple of extras, maybe a you could offer to help out a fellow Bolter with a similar need? Anyway, get yourself some new springs.

Wow, that's awesome-thank you!! I hadn't had much luck with this search yet, but I found that I needed the springs just before leaving for a family function for 5 days. I'm back now, and will pursue this option.
A short bit of research indicates that Raybestos H407 is a modern part number that NAPA stocks, and it's like five bucks for a pair. Apparently the same spring is used in a variety of Drof and IH trucks up into the early '90s as well, so it's not super uncommon. I'll be in North Bend in a day or two so will pick them up then, and verify fitment.
