I have a 38 GMC and will be putting in datsun 240z gauged. Somebody posted that the chrome rings of my 1938 1/2-ton will snap on the datsun gauges. I just want to know if they glued the crime ring on or did anything else to the gauge or ring to support the datsun gauge

They didn't glue them on...they normally had a few tiny crimps in the rings which held the ring to the gauge housing collar piece. Good luck.

For a 37 guage the rings were a hard press on but still did a small crimp....just dont mess up the ring what you'll be looking at. May decide tight enough?!

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile
