What is the size and thread pattern of the block petcock for a 235. Mine has a pipe plug and I want to make it stock. Also, when I remove the plug nothing comes out of the block because it is stopped up. What is the safest way to unstop and not do any damage.
Thanks, ray durham

It’s 1/8 NPT.

You are fine to get things moving with a coat hanger wire or similar. Shooting some compressed air helps.

Probably good to do a thorough chemical flush while you’re at it.

It is 1/4 in pipe thread.
JW is right about poking a wire or long screw driver in the hole. If its just a little scum on the surface it will drain right out. It could be a whole lot of crude. It so it will need to be flushed out.

Screw a quick connect air line fitting into the block (it's the right thread) and hook up your air compressor to the fitting. Be sure to take the radiator cap off before you turn the air pressure on. You'll clear the clog, and back flush the radiator at the same time.
