Well, the fastest and most economical answer to keep the 2 ton out of the weather was a Costco $200 portable garage. It fits really well. I'm not going to put the doors on, I think the air would flow better and less chance of moisture building up where it shouldn't. I even have an electrical plug nearby.

After I put the shed up the wife and I went blackberry picking. The pain is worth the pleasure in the end.

Hy Super55, I hope you've got those legs anchored down well!

What doors are you talking about? On the truck? I'd keep them on and crack the windows a bit if you want ventilation. Otherwise you may end up owning a rodent hotel.. or worse a raccoon hotel.
With-out the ends on the cover it could end up being a big parachute in a windstorm.

Make sure EACH leg is bolted down and consider more that 2 bolts(screws) on each leg. I have 3 up now for 3 years and they are about wore out now. I had 2 blow into the condos next door before I got the anchor thing right. They can catch alot of air. Good thing about Costco's return policy. The door on the front helps keep some wind out of the "tent" and they are not so tight to worry about moisture build up! Happy tenting.

When I was talking about keeping the doors off I was talking about the shed doors, but I will crack the windows, that's a good idea. Believe me those anchors are solid with the concrete screws. The plaxtic foot pads are going to go before those come out of the pad. But best of all we are in a protected area. Lived here 25 years and am confident the worst wind we've had wouldn't come close to pulling that thing out of the gournd. I have anohter shed that has a domed top, that withstood the wind form last November, that tore a chunk out of Stanley Park.

with all the wonderful moisture in your area you can put some of those dryer deals for car storage in the truck. i drug home a 54' chevy from mount vernon that sat for 10+ years and the inside was mold free. they seem to work.

Where does one find one of those dryer deals? I did a google and all I could find was "how to fix that dent in your car with a hair dryer".
