There will be inverted cone on the other end where the pin fits in which in turn connects to the brake shoes. Some one installed a different wheel cylinder kit that has a pistons which is different from the others. The odd ball cylinder has a long spring in between the two pistons and the seals are not attached to the piston like my other three. This odd ball has a long spring which has a cup on each end and this pushes out on the two pistons. This sucker leaks!
I have the kit but no pistons to put it together if you have extras send me an email.
Is there an up grade for a Master Cylinder for this 57 2 ton chevy truck? any idea what i need?
crlabs@srt.com Thanks!
It cost, WHAT? Dam!

It might be worth a shot, though. If you're looking for the 1-1/2" diameter original-style slave cylinders, Napa carries them. The only downside is they're about 90 dollars apiece, but it's an alternative if you can't find the ones you described. | | | | Joined: Aug 2007 Posts: 9 New Guy | New Guy Joined: Aug 2007 Posts: 9 | Try Alretta Truck Parts, in Framingham, Mass. ph.
