Is anyone passing through Northern Virginia (Woodbridge 22191) on there way to Homecoming? I still have Chris's old engine/parts and thought you guys might want to look at it to investigate why the rod let loose or may just want parts off of it. From what I recall the block was undamaged. The first link below is his thread and and the second link is my pictures.

I'm currently posting from John's computer at Stovebolt HQ. I'll be heading home from wrenchfest tomorrow with a little extra room on my trailer. I'd be happy to rehome any parts that you'd be willing to part with, including that block and/or anything attached to it, on my way back to Tennessee. PM incoming, with my cell phone number. I'll be passing through Dahlgren, Chancellorsville, and all the way to Bristol Tennessee and Knoxville before heading south on I-75.
