#15426 05/21/2004 5:41 PM | Joined: Feb 2004 Posts: 28 Member | | Member Joined: Feb 2004 Posts: 28 | I'm not entirly sure what it is, The previous owner told me it was a 1957 Chevrolet Milk Truck Converted to a motorhome, its got powerdisk brakes on the straight axle up front, hydroboost power steering, 350 on propane with 11:1 pistons, 4 speed with lockup torque converter, and a few other modifications, It runs, drives, and stops. Not entirly sure why I needed it, or what I'm going to do with it now. | | |

These chip wagons can be found in a lot of towns parked on the side of the road or some have a semi permanent spot with some picnic tables set up around it. Chip Wagons are still down here in Syracuse at the University, parked outside of the Dorms- the ones up in Canada that I have been to have vinegar out to put on your Fish & Chips! Come to think of it, I have seen a few of those abandoned by barns and such, never thought much of them until now. The aluminum bodies don't rust, are light weight, and easy to repair, not exactly the nicest looking things on the road, but collectable non-the less, Thanks for the info!
