Would the 9ft express box from a 1941 1 ton fit on a 1946 1 ton? both single axle pickups.Thanks.

I also need some advice on the floor construction of a 9ft express box on a 1941-1946 1 ton, were they wood or metal. My old box had no floor either rotted completely or removed at some point and I cannot tell what it was originally. Thanks.

FarNorth, You might gain some answers to some of your questions reading through this 1941 Chevrolet Truck resource document. It includes some drawings and descriptions of the truck bed construction towards the later part of the document. Lots of good info on the truck overall. Enjoy the reading! wink
