I was thinking about putting shocks on the truck. Has anyone tried doing this?

or am i just wasting my time | | | | | Joined: May 2005 Posts: 8,878 . | | . Joined: May 2005 Posts: 8,878 | I had shocks on the front of my 52 1 ton, and I think they helped. Never had any on the rear, and occasionally I thought they would help.
I don't plan to install them on my 2 ton right now. Although that could change down the road. I will look into front and rear sway bars for the 2 ton.

My axles are not original, but should be close enough that whatever I do for sway bars will work on an original truck too.
