Can anyone tell me if the front fenders on a 46 GMC 1 Ton are the same as a 1 1/2 ton. I know the 2 tons are definately different. Thanks

I can look them up if they are US models, but I don't have documentation for Canadian-built GMCs. US 1 ton would be a 25x model and 1.5 ton would be a 30x model.

'57 GMC 102, Original 347 V8, HydraMatic, 3.08 rear gear, added A/C, disk front brakes, HEI, AFB carb, '98 Honda Black Currant paint. T-boned and totaled 10/12
'52 GMC 152 Stake Bed, Original 228, SM420, added A/C, HEI, disk front brakes, '67 Chev 3.55 rear gear. Gets used as a real truck.

Thanks Bill, Mine is a Canadian unit, but I would like to guess they would have used the same blueprint as the US models, but maybe not.

The one ton is a thicker version of the half ton bumper
They are interchangeable fit I’m fairly sure
A 1.5 ton bumper is completely different it looks like a 2 and 3 ton bumpers much beefier.
The 1.5 tons is much closer related in construction and sheet metal to the larger trucks

That’s the delineation line
1/2 3/4 and 1 ton similar in style and sheet metal
1.5 ton and up is a big truck and shares only cab and engine with the pick up line.

Folks in SK posting trucks for sale get the size wrong all the time
The door tag doesn’t lie
I’ve never found an actual outlier to the sizing rules in the gm documents. If it looks like a 1 ton it is
If it looks like a 1.5 ton, it is
Folks were poor up here, no fancy factory orders
