Linked is the beginning of the comprehensive Carter BB-1 article; please forgive me for making it comprehensive, and not just Chevrolet.

There is much additional data to add (casting numbers, pictures, etc.) as I have time to disassemble the carburetors and take the pictures.

And while I now have samples of all of the BB-1's AND their variations used by Chevrolet, I still need to find many non-Chevrolet carbs. So if you have a friend who you have been unable to convert to Chevrolet that might have some of these (Dodge trucks seem to be the most elusive), please mention me to your friend.

Those who have original Chevrolet literature might check the years and applications. The Carter prints and indices have slightly different data in this area.
