Hey there. I just swapped a '71 crossmember, tie rods drop spindles etc into my '60 frame. The original drag link has a smaller taper than the 71 tie rods. Does anybody know the best place to find an affordable cross link or can I swap the adjusting sleeve for a smaller diameter tie rod? Thanks Josh

Use a tapered reamer to enlarge the holes in the Pitman arm, steering knuckles, etc. Victor Machinery Co. (www.victornet.com) should have the proper tapered tool in stock.
