I am wondering if the front valance (goes above the front bumper) is suppose to be flat? Mine is anything but flat but with the cracks and other "features" is am not sure what the correct form is and what to make sure I do not "fix" areas that are intended to be the way mine is.

I suspect thae the part is intended to be basically flat with the exception of the two areas where the mounting brackets require the edge to be formed out for clearance.

Any inofrmation (including pictures) would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, they're supposed to be basically flat. The one I drug out of a junkyard had a chain wrapped around the skinny point in the middle, making it even skinnier.

I needed to temporarily remove one or two of the mounting brackets to get mine flattened out correctly.

Thanks for the clarification that it should be basically flat. Mine was bent down in the middle and pretty wavy but nothing like the one that Kevin restored - great work.

Is the flange intended to be flared out in the area of the two inner mounting brackets? I am thinking yes in part because the brackets do not appear to be relocated and require the flange to flare around them but if needed I could remove the inner brackets, repair the flange, and reattach the brackets.
