Those might be a bit too wide if you're using the stock 4.5" wide 16" wheels. 215 85 16 seems to be a choice that other 'bolters have used. I bought some 6.50-16 tires for my truck.

The Firestones on my truck are 215/70x16. I would have preferred the 225/85x16 because they're quite close to the original tire dimensions. I have that size on my Packard with 4.5" rims and they perfectly fill the wheel well. The price difference was too great to justify their purchase , however. These Firestones were $94 each on Amazon.
The 215/85x16 tires will be about 1 1/4"" or so taller sidewall than these. That translates to about 2 1/2" in diameter larger.

MNSmith - thanks for the web sites - I will be looking at them later in the year when I am looking for wheels and tires for my 3600. I would like to stay in the range of the 34.5" outside diamter of the tires that are on the truck now to work with my transmission/rear axle ratios.
