Hello!

I have a question concerning the rear shocks for a 1941 to 1946 1/2-ton pick-up. I have run across shocks with two different arms - one has a straight arm and another with an arm that is curved (bent) toward the frame rail- what is the difference (as to application)?

Thanks in advance.

Randy B.

On my 47 the curved arms are front shocks, and the straight arms are rear shocks. They are the same as earlier years till replace with tube shocks.
