Or, is there a place that sells something that will bolt directly to the frame of the big bolt? My 4400 had a light/plate bracket on it that looked like the pickup one, but appeared to be "custom made"
Hopefully someone who knows for sure will come along and answer the question but to my knowledge, I'm not aware of any vendor selling Big Bolt light brackets.

Joined: May 2005 Posts: 8,878 | You have got the right idea. I doubt you find anything that is a perfect fit right out of the box. Do you want it to look original? Here is a picture of some 4" LED lights on my 1 ton. I plan to use the exact same setup on my 6400. On the rear lights, it had 2 just like the pickups have. I got ahold of Obsolete Chev. parts in Georgia, ordered from their catalog a pair. They were a perfect match to what originals were. In looks. They came with 6 volt bulbs, wired them up with new conduit too...and looks great.
I wish to keep the farm truck looking pretty much original, and this sure did meet my wants. So, for you I would guess the 4400 truck was probably similar as the 6400 model ?
I just did this last week. The old lights were so rusted and junky....could not use them. I do believe most vendors selling the 47 to 53 items all have these lights. Mine came with the license lamp lens too...for the left side. You can get plastic, or glass lens, for these rear lights. And, they really look terrific.
I did talk to a tech helper first, and found out stuff better, before I ordered. That helps to know of someone who knows as much as you do, or more...when ordering.

Although they are not "perfect" straight, I did straighten these brackets so it looks decent from the back. Need to "tweak" it a bit, but I have lots of things on her I need to "tweak" !!
