I got an original 2 speed wiper with washer off a parts truck for my truck but it didnt have the knob with it. I cant find one on the internet so I bought a normal knob and am planning on drilling out the center and making a button.(aluminum?) Anyone get dimensions on the button? Is it pressed/glued to the switch or is there a flange to keep it in the knob?
Also, mounting ideas for the jar with power brakes?

I have not been on here much. Sorry that you’ve not had any replies.
Adding power brakes is pretty easy. Here is a video I made showing conversion to a dual MC. I highly recommend a dual MC, with either a disc/drum or drum/drum setup. Dual MC in my 63.

For the wiper knob, check with TruckandCarShop.com.

Matt,

Forgive me as well. Do you have the wiper knob w/washer button? I believe I have one for you in my stash. Not selling. Its yours if I can find it.

Havnt found a knob yet Hambone. If you can find it that would be amazing!
As for the wiper reservoir, I found somewhere that they were also mounted next to the radiator when the truck had power brakes (they are already added). Now just gotta fiddle with my radiator overflow tank position! 😆

My 63 had a windshield washer setup. Currently not in use. This is where the reservoir tank/bottle was located. I cleaned up the engine bay and put it back where it was even though I am not using it.

Is that on the side of the radiator shroud/side panel? Looks like it held a glass bottle instead of the plastic one?

Yes. It’s on the driver side. My 63 has the tall and narrow style radiator typically seen in the trucks with an inline 6. The panels guide towards the front of the radiator and prevent less air going around it. It’s not truly a fan shroud. More like duct work.
