Anyone know what this part is called? Or where I can find it for my 49 Chevy truck? Looked all over for this holder.

My truck just had a grommet in there without that metal keeper screwed over it. This should be the one for your truck. Jim Carter Part# FP102 Apparently there were different types depending on years. They show 47-49, 50-53, and 54-59. All slightly different.
It's called a 4-hole grommet. The throttle and choke cables, oil pressure tube, and temperature sensor tube run through it. Here's a pic of mine when I got the truck. Somewhat different than yours.

Kevin is correct that the rubber piece is called a "grommet".

Another source for a reproduction is 1947-49 Truck Firewall Grommet 4 hole.

It can also be found as one piece of the 1947-49 Truck Firewall Grommets Kit 6 PCS if you are needing more than just that one piece.

If you are also looking for the metal "RETAINER, Grommet" GM# 3653786 (not sure if the picture you posted is of your truck or just a sample showing what you are looking for?), I couldn't find that piece being offered as a reproduction or even used by a web search.

One ray of hope though if you need to find one of the metal retainers, they were also used on ALL 1940-48 Chevy passenger cars. Could be a donor vehicle out there near by???

If you really want just a generic rubber grommet for pass through protection and aren't worried about having the metal retainer, this 4 hole grommet listed for 1947-59 Trucks maybe all you want. That grommet is self retaining and doesn't require the metal retainer.

You can remove the cover by removing the 2 screws. The cover should spread out to put it over the new grommet. A little grey paint will make it like new. The new grommet should have slits in to put the wires & cables in without disconnecting them.

Thanks everyone. I was just looking for the retainer metal piece. My firewall had the screw holes for it and was hoping to use it if found. I May follow Gdads51 advice and look for a donor Chevy car.

Sorry, I didn't understand that you were referring to the metal retainer, and not the grommet. Pretty sure that's not reproduced. Looks Like Twin Jimmys can help you out.
