The I was wondering if anyone has used 900x20 Military tires before. They're 40 inches tall, 8.5 inch tread width. and I'm afraid they won't fit but I can get them for around 60 bucks a tire (shipping not included). I Bet they would fit the rear but I don't know how well they'd fit under the front fenders without a lift. Or even if they'd fit the rims correctly. But you know, try to save some money, later on buy nicer tires.

I am going down there tonight and will check on them for you. They are either 9.00 or 10.00 x 20's. I'm sure we could be in your price range too. | | | | | Joined: May 2005 Posts: 8,878 . | | . They will rub the springs at a hard turn, you may be OK with that?, and they will possibly rub the fenders. Should fit the rear, and make the truck faster. You may have a little trouble actually getting them on the rims, because that size tire usually likes a slightly wider rim, but I would think they will fit with some elbow grease. | | | | | Joined: Jun 2006 Posts: 23 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Jun 2006 Posts: 23 | I was way off!! Can I easily lift the front end a few inches to fit in the 40 inch tires on the front? Just put a few more leafs in or what? | | |
