i have a 1939 chevy 1.5 ton flatbed truck with a sb 350 and a muncie 465 4 speed . any ideas for power steering ? the truck has 20 inch wheels and 7200 pounds dry weight . straight axle all rebuilt with disc brakes ,not a lot of room left in the engine compartment . very hard to park . thank you for looking
An older Toyota Land Cruiser steering box bears a strong resemblance to a stovebolt gear. It takes some adapting, but Land Cruiser power steering has been added to a lot of old Chevy trucks for many years.
