No internet, telephone or anything. I can get one radio station. About 15 feet outside the building everything wrks fine. Is there some form of antenna that will make a connection inside my shop?

They make repeaters and Cell phone repeaters that can be setup with external antenna.
Some are made for your situation and reasonable cost other are business and handle lots of setup.
Radio just needs external antennal.
Do a google search for
cell phone repeater for metal building
you will get all kinds of options.
weBoost and WilsonPro and HiBoost are used by of lot of way outside the zone people

There is NO cell service in the area due to our property being out of "line of sight" to all the cell towers in the neighborhood. I use a repeater near the back door to transmit to the phone I use in the metal shop 100 feet from the house.

I use a repeater on my TV set up inside. I have all the boxes inside and out of sightA few years ago I learned what a repeater was, I think we called it a re-trans on the Army radios again due to line of sight and distance issues. They also said use a barb wire fence for an antenna.
I will jump into the repeater business and see what trouble I can get into.
