Sind hier noch andere deutsche verrückte Stovebolter?
Ich hab mir nen 1949 GMC 9300 mit 235 cui gekauft.
Wollte eigentlich keine full resto machen,aber wie das so is: machst eine Baustelle auf kommt die nächste und so seiter.
Nun steh ich da mit sandgestrahltem Rahmen und gefühlt 1000 Teilen die wieder irgendwie zusammen gehören.
Ich sag Euch: das wird ne Herausforderung, ich habe respekt davor aber keine Angst.
Also Meldet Euch wenn ihr auch Projekte am laufen habt.

jepp, es gibt noch mehr verrückte Stevebolter und Schrauber, die alte US Klassiker lieben.

Ich heiße Brian und komme aus dem Rhein-Main Gebiet.
Ich durchforste das Forum schon seit November 2021 und habe hier die besten Tipps bekommen.
Die Leute hier im Forum haben unheimlich viel Fachwissen und sind sehr hilfsbereit.

Ich selbst habe einen Chevrolet C60 Firetruck, 6.0 L, 366 CUI, Baujahr 1966.
Die komplette Technik ist neu, Bremse, Elektrik, Kraftstoff, Licht, einfach alles.
Es ist ein Event Truck.

Und zur Zeit arbeite ich an einer Frame-off Restaurierung eines Chevrolet C10, Stepside, Baujahr 1970.
Wenn man einmal anfängt die Karre zu zerlegen, kommen soviele Baustellen zusammen... Es macht dann einfach Sinn, alles wieder herzurichten.

It was used as a fire truck in California/Dixon until the mid-90s and was then used as a training vehicle.

It was then shipped to Holland and we bought the C60 in Holland and completely overhauled it three years later.
