Funny you say that. I was at the C10 nationals last week and there seemed to be more 60-66 trucks there than there has been in past shows.

Well, the day started not so good as one of the dual carbs was running over with fuel. Needless to say I was not going anywhere like that. First tried to tap on it with a screwdriver hoping to free up whatever was causing it to flood. Ended up taking it apart cleaning it well and reassembling to which it was fine afterwards. Just like it was Wednesday when we got home. Got started later than we wanted but went thru Pass Christian and stayed in Bay St Louis most of the day. We ended up in Biloxi and had our cards stamped at all three locations today. Tomorrow’s goal is Ocean Springs and Diberville to get our cards stamped there. This gives us 40 chances @ $500 giveaways.
Here are a couple of videos taken as we were driving thru and more pictures to follow from Bay St Louis.

Took the scenic route down the beach to Ocean Springs, hung out most of the morning. Then moved to Diberville and took a few more pictures there.

Craig, yep tomorrow is the last day but a lot will already be leaving to get back home. Today I am going to Cruise central to sign up for next year and check out the classics there.
Took this video in Ocean Springs yesterday while driving down the main road on the way out 2025 Ocean Springs

Ended the week getting signed up for next year. Took a few pictures as some trucks passed by. No! I didn’t win the C10 truck that was raffled or the 40 chances for $500. Oh well maybe next year.
Oh and there was a record 10,334 registered classics 1989 and older. Probably thousands more not registered along the coast.

Don, with that many attending, would you post the links for next year. Also recommendations where to stay.

This sounds like a few of us would like to make this a gathering maybe?

Wayne,

I think I have posted that info up front the last couple of years. I did not do as much this year You could look at older souther bolter posts Cruisin the Coast but I will post it again. As far as where to stay, you could stay at the casino hotels or any other city along the coast line. If someone thinks they are coming I would book now. Book somewhere that you could cancel later in case family or other priority comes up. Also you could book a hotel off the beach to save $ like up by I-10 that is only about 8 miles north. I will also post a summary of what happens each day so people could decide when they want to or can come.

Wayne, more info.

Here is the link for the website. Cruisin the Coast. Honestly their website is not that good, they will not update to 2026 info until mid next year. Even though it has a specific schedule of events, it does not clearly tell first timers what they are supposed to do. Below I will summarize that week although the stamping (5 or 6 coastal cities) of your card does not start till Thursday and thru Saturday. There is plenty to do every day, begining on Sunday the 4th if you want or can do the whole week.

1.On Sunday 4th, is "View the Cruise" in downtown Gulfport where 4 or 5 square city block are reserved on for participants to come in an park. Thousands of classics
2 On Monday,Tuesday or Wednesday you can go to an "Autocross" a timed course with your vehicle for participants only. Monday evening is a Long Beach Parade, first 600 classics allowed to participate. On Monday or Tuesday (alphabtically) you have to pick up your registration packet at Cruise Central in Gulfport, good place to meet up or see classics there. Before you get your registration packet your registration card that they mail to you will get you into any event.
3. Tuesday, evening a Flamethrowing contest at the Island View casino in Gulfport. Only participants can enter a car but spectators welcomed.
4. Wednesday, A "Car Corral" (Thursday and Friday also) where people can bring vehicles to sell or buy. Waveland holds an event in that city the whold day too.Diamondhead blessing of the classics and a smaller parade.
5. So beginning Thursday, also Friday and Saturday if you are a participant you go to the 5 or 6 (1 optional) cities to get your card stamped for entry to win the 30 chances at $500. Spectators crowds (look at my postings above) will be at all of the cities you visit. All week at most all locations will be live music on stages you can hang out as long as you want at any location. You could get all 5 stamps in one day if you wanted to. Thursday evening they have a "Burnout contest"in Pass Christian. Also they have guests at different locations Dennis Gauge, Courtney Hanson, Joe and Amanda Martin"

The citys you will have to go to get stamped are Bay St Louis, Pass Christian, Edgewater(Biloxi) and Diberville and Ocean Springs. Pascagoula is optional for an extra $100. So a hotel in any of these citys would be good but they will fill up fast.

Plenty to do each day!

The dates for next years Cruisin are October 4th thru 11th. If you preregister before August the cost is $75.00, for that you get a nice tee shirt, 2 tickets to the swap meet (parts etc) dash plaque and pins and 10 additional chances @ $500. If you register when you get here you do not get some of these things.

I will post more and be glad to answer specific questions. Hope this helps!

Thanks for this info. It feels like they have made it complicated for a newbee to know what happens where and how to accomplish whatever goal that has been set.
I understand that having the numbers of vehicles in one show is a monumental task to control.
I looked at hotels long the beach and they are quite pricey. I also looked and found houses for rent that have multiple bedrooms for several couples. The houses could bring the weekly cost down to a reasonable amount per couple.

Wayne,
Once you have come it will be clearer. You are free to do whatever you want Sunday thru Wednesday. Thursday thru Saturday you get your card stamped and do other stuff. It’s not the traditional pull up and park type show. Nothing like even Emerald Coast Cruisin @ Panama City. That’s why so many cars distributed over the whole coast works for a week. You don’t have to come for the whole week. What ever works for you. Once you come you will want to come back.

Kind of neat Coastal Ms, Cruisin with people from all over letting you know where they came from. Nice looking suburban at the beginning.

I saw a 58 or so like that in Crisfield Md about a week ago. Complete but a total rust bucket. It did have a nice 600 Holmes wrecker mounted on it which still looked to be in good condition. Mom was not happy that I stopped to check it out. Since I grew up in the wrecker business, it did catch my eye. Didn’t get a photo.

Donald,

That link is not working for me...it takes me somewhere unrelated to where I think you intended.
