How can I tell if my truck has a regular 2 speed axle or the heavy duty(HD) axle? My truck is a 1956 6500 with a vaccum activated two speed axle. I have a line on some parts but I'm not sure which axle that I have. Thanks for any help.

Hy Truckwhisperer, Vacuum shift is for the corporation diff. [ lighter duty ] electric shift is for the Eatons [ heavier duty ]. Hope that helps.
