buoymaker Curmudgeon B Joined: Mar 2010 Posts: 1,660 nc	In case you have thoughts of doing this yourself. I did my own on a 1950 that I later sold. It was more for cosmetic reasons but the speedometer needle had age cracked and fell off and the fuel gauge wasn't working because the truck had a rookie voltage conversion to 12 volts. I decided to buy a new reproduction fuel gauge made for 12 volts, so that I didn't have to add a dropping resistor. I bought new reproduction: * Speedometer needle * Decal kit * Fuel gauge (12V) * 2X chrome bezels * 2X glass faces (mine were scratched). I already had the paint I needed. I was satisfied with the results. The hardest part for me was working underneath the dash with these old bones.
