Once you have a few more posts, you will have access to everything the site has to offer, which includes the parts for sale and wanted sections, you can look in there, as well as make a wanted post. Well they do in my area. There also could be salvage yards near your that have alot of older medium duty truck. I personally know where about 100 c50/60/70 hoods are, they may not be completely solid but the whole hood is there may need some patching minor rust holes around the edges if your worried about that kinda thing. But I suggest searching google maps for junk yards/salvage yards/ metal recycling centers around you and go check them out and maybe even ask employees there if they know where any medium duty truck yards are for parts.... | | | | | Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 6,214 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 6,214 | Not sure where you are in VA, but have you gone to Leon's Junk Yard in Leon, VA? 115 acres of stuff to see...pack a lunch and carry all your tools in with you, takes a full day to walk it all so get there when he opens (8am?). Take a friend, my son and I used to go there in the winter when the snakes and bee's were down, it's a real adventure. I haven't been there in a few years so don't know what the inventory looks like...he was crushing some of the really old stuff the last time we were there. Trucks,cars, tractors,farm machinery,winch trucks,drive shaft pile,engines,trannys,manifolds in the bus,goes on and on 56 years for me so far oh battery pile take your charger to check batteries,belly up to the wood stove,thaw out and go again,barrow tools if you need em 30,s to current on cars and trucks lot o junk !! | | |
