Just pulled these lever action shocks. I read hydraulic jack fluid to refill. Aside from cleaning them up and painting them (black?) Anything else I need to know or check for or replace?

I would check to see if the seals are intact before filling them, easier to replace if empty!

Take it apart, carefully noting assembly, photos help.

Thanks. Does anyone know if these were factory black? I see Apple returns them a silver color. If I’m painting, I’d like to return to their proper color.

Mine were black, appears to be original color – I had them rebuilt and painted black
