I have looked in a lot of places for a definitive way to ID a 1946. There are good sites that compare 42-46, but I want to know is there anything that defiantly is on the 46 that is not on the earlier models????
Thanks for your input.

Thanks,
I was told it was a 1946 when I bought it. It is 1/2 ton & no Id # other than the engine & that is a 1950.

I purchased my 1/2 ton as a ‘41 (as titled), but like you after finding the Stovebolt site I determined “᠁I definitely have a 46.”

Dan,

Glad to see Kip's Tech Tip referenced here. He did a good job getting all that info together.

And then happy to see it helped with the ID of Harold46's 46! thumbs_up
