For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Apr 2009 Posts: 187 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Apr 2009 Posts: 187 | I knew that I was not making the proper voltage from my 6v generator. I did a few tests such as bypassing the regulator, belt etc. Took a lead wire to try and polarize the generator. Many tries but now luck. Check the jumper wire with my ohm meter, every thing look good. For some reason I sandpapered both ends of the lead, low and behold I got a nice spark, my ammeter on the dash came alive and my multimeter confirmed. Now I'm making over 7v and I'm now a happy owner of Blanche our 1950 chev truck
I would rather be late 10 minutes in this life than 10 minutes early for the next
The reason my lady and I have been together so long is because of the kids.
