I saw an AD truck today at a show that appeared to have stainless steel skirting around the bench seat frame. I did not have a chance to catch the owner around the truck. Was there such a trim level available on any of the AD trucks back in the day? Photos are of the stock skirting in my '48 Chevy 1/2 truck. Thanks.

Stainless seat frame skirts have to be custom. I don't know of any option that would use stainless there. It wouldn't be that hard to fabricate those out of stainless if a guy has a brake, bead roller and a shrinker. I bet Robert (MPandC) could whip up a set of those. He has all the toys. wink

Maybe he had them "wrapped" in stainless steel look vinyl.
