Looking for bring my truck back to factory specs. I believe it was mariner blue. My questions are:

1. What color were wheels on 3600’s (I’ve read body color and black)
2. Did 3600s have belt line pin stripe?
3. What were standard seat colors for mariner blue?

Thanks a bunch!

Wheel color was black except on deluxe trucks which would be body color. 15" wheels have no stripes, and 16" wheels would have 3 pinstripes, again only on body color wheels. A good reference is the Vehicle Info kit here: Vehicle Info Kits.
I've seen original big bolts with the belt line pin stripe. So I would say yes on #2.
Interior color in 1949 was all the same, no matter what the exterior color is, a grey/brown semi-metallic, with maroon seats.

Thank you klhasen, I have two wheels that appear to have blue at some point, one black, and one green. Getting them professionally dismantled, blasted, and powder coated next week and needed to confirm color! Attached is photo of blue I found on rim:

Looks like these wheels were actually lime green first, so probably replacements. Fun to know! I found another set of wheels (off of a 49 3/4 ton) on marketplace and just dropped them off to get taken apart, then I will have blasted and powder coated ᠁ black! Just got the truck up on my lift. I’ll attach lime wheel photo and my current view

With blue paint on the valve stem of that first photo, that was probably a repaint.

Above and beyond, thanks a ton! I just got the phone call that the rims are ready from the tire shop. Now I will pick them up to go get blasted in powder coated. I will update with photos. I am told (and read on these forums) that 235/75/R15 will work well.
