Hey,

Looking to replace all the glass in my 40. Haven’t had much luck locating places locally that deal with flat glass. I’ve tried ordering glass from eBay and it was shattered during shipping.

I tried nugget glass in Duncan and that’s been less than successful so far.

Any BC bolters with recommendations for a place to have new glass cut? Preferably on the island.

Thanks!

Well, they are not on the island, but this place looks like they can make glass for anything. https://dominionautoglass.ca/contact/

We broke a window on our Acura. Rod's Auto Glass & Upholstery on Boys Rd was great to deal with.

Thanks Gord&Fran,

I’d forgotten about rod’s. I went in there a few months ago to get a quote for my trucks bench seat. I might give him a try for the glass.

Cheers

Went to a local car show and got a lead on a place in Parksville that cuts flat glass... "Our glass shop"

Update on my quest for glass᠁

Highly recommend “our glass shop” in Parksville.

Took 3 weeks for all 5 pieces to be cut at what I considered a very reasonable cost.

Biggest stress was getting it all home in one piece 😀
