If you're looking for a good jerry can Wavian makes an excellent one. They have all kinds of different mounts but obviously none are probably exactly period correct.
It´s not so much important if it doesn´t match to the period. For me it is more important to have extra fuel with me...fuel consumption of the 292cui engine is high..
