If they are different do any of you guys have a 1940 switch available? I have a wiring diagram for a 39 headlight switch but not a 40.

I had the generator rebuilt, and the regulator tested and set up by an old guy who had an old school auto electric shop. I wish that there were still people around like that. I have driven my truck a lot over the years and the charging system still works perfectly.

He gave me a dye to chase alternator shaft threads that get damaged in the core barrel. I now keep it on a special nail right by my vise (handy) !! He has passed on. | | |
