I’m putting my front brakes back together on my ‘52 6400 and the back shoe doesn’t line up with the wheel cylinder. Is there a measurement I can make to see if the backing plate or the inside plates are the issue?

I figured out that the mounting plates are bent. Any idea where to buy new ones? I can’t seem to find anyone who carries 6400 parts.

I found a friend who has a press that he says he can use to straighten what I have. We will see one day this week.

Plates are now straight, hope to put them on in the next few days now that I have all the parts from Mongo.

Here is the brakes put back in. Thanks to Mongo for the locking clips! Only problem is the springs look different on each side. Does anyone know which is right, or does it matter? Are the springs for pickups the same for the Big boys? I can’t attach pictures because they are too big.
