This evening we went to PJ’s BAR-B-QSA Cruise-In, just south of Saratoga Springs in NY. Held every Wednesday from 5 till about 8, about 30 miles from my home. Longest trip for our truck to day! She ran great and a few times I actually got to do the speed limit of 55 MPH. They had a fair turnout of about 30 cars and trucks. I would have posted photos of all the Stovebolts I saw, but it would have only been one, mine. Just goes to show you how rare these old trucks are getting. Regardless, we had a great time!

So fun!

(I thought I posted this somewhere but it may have been an email to someone.)

There is something similar to that here near us. Every Wednesday, antingues of all kinds hang out at the local grocery shopping center. There are plenty of places around to grab some food. Different people come different times. Makes it a real happening and low stress.

Use to also have something similar at the Cheeseburger in Paradise parking area (which flows into a large parking lot). Always up for a burger there!

Different group came there. It's about 30 minutes from the one closest to us; only because of traffic congestion.

Always fun, especially when the weather is decent (spring / fall). John would take our one grandson (10). He got a kick out of the gang (several Bolters there). Mike B brought his firetruck sometimes, which was a special hit with him. He learned some of the fun facts about Charlie (the '49 1-ton) so he could chat with people about the truck.
