Would someone with a 47-55 Suburban please measure the following regarding the rear floor-cover material (linoleum?)?

1. the distance between the "ribs"/grooves
and
2. the depth of the grooves
and
3. is the linoleum taller that the side metal?

Please send me a Private Message, if you are willing to discuss this in a phone call.

Thanks, Tim

Dangit. I just wrapped mine in a "bag" in anticipation of spraying tomorrow. If no one responds, I'll try to get you that info when I unwrap it.

Thanks, Mark, I will just wait before I visit the new "local" business (60 miles away) that has a new CNC machine. They told me they would pleased to cut/groove the linoleum material for me.

The linoleum material comes from their new next-door business (that does high-end boat restorations) - that restoration business also has offered to paint my 1954 Deluxe 3104 (5 window cab pickup) that has its original rebuilt Hydra-Matic transmission. All parts are in now in epoxy primer.

Things are clicking into place for this rare-features/rare-color-combination/rare-RPOs truck that has been waiting to find a finish-painter for more than 8 years. Stovebolt.com member Greg Hill (a 1954 truck expert) has given me a lot of help/advice regarding the two-ton interior and two-tone exterior.

The truck that I started-with is shown at the bottom of this page.

I am keeping my fingers crossed that all of this falls into place.

Everything on/in the truck is original except for the interior/exterior color-combinations, electric wiper-washer, and Unison seats. I still hope to drive this truck again before I die.
