My 1948 Chevy 1/2 ton truck glass does NOT have any visible markings. I surmise that it was replaced at some point by a previous owner. Where are the markings/what do they look like for the windshield glass, side window glass, rear glass, and the cab corner glass?
Visible from the inside passengers side, you can see my original windshield glass markings.

Phil's glass markings are simply the glass manufacturer's logo and brand name for their laminated glass, which was supplied to the GM plant. LOF stands for Libbey-Owens-Ford (not THAT Ford), which was a glass manufacturer back in the day. I'll have to look at the glass from my truck and see if they have any markings. I suspect that not all AD trucks had glass with markings on them, but can't prove that. Here's a pic of an LOF advertisement that's for sale on eBay. I stole it just for the information.

I think it would have to be a DIY thing. I have not seen anything available from any vendors.
