Hi I have a 49 3600 with firestone deluxe Champion tires 7.00-15 98P They came on it The owners manual list a couple different pressures Can some or tell me how many ply tire this is 6 or 8. What pressure do you guys run on your tires I'm not planning on hauling anything with it
If it's not stamped on the tire call Coker Tire as they are the supplier of Vintage Firestone Tires...do not go by the owners manual as that is 70 year old info and may not be correct for your modern/old tires.

I used those Croaker Firestone bias plies on my Cadillac for a short time. I kept them inflated to 32psi. Car weighs 5000lbs with me in it.
You should know that those "Firestone" tires from Coker are made in Vietnam on in worn out, 70 year old molds and will be next to impossible to balance properly. At low speeds or in parking lot car shows I guess it doesn't matter so much.
If you plan on driving regularly, you're next set of tires will be Diamondback radials.

All of the normal tire information - including the manufacturing date - is normally stamped on the blackwall side of Coker tires. Flip it over and take a look. I'd be more concerned with their age than anything else.
