I’ve seen someone suggest this in the past. Maybe Evan?

Width seems about right. There’s one for sale locally for fairly good price.

Is the lug pattern right for original wheels? Could a guy make the parking brake work with the original pedal and truck linkage?

The Colorado and Trailblazer are a metric bolt pattern, I believe the studs are also a larger diameter. You could possibly have the axels re-drilled for your original bolt pattern.

We have done several Colorado/Trailblazer rears in AD's and the main thing going for them is correct width. The first Colorado's had drum brakes which made E-brake hookup easier. Since axle flanges need re-drilled anyway we now use Explorer rears with the rotor also being the brake drum and a conventional E-brake layout. The Explorer width is 59" vs 61" for the AD so STEEL spacer or wheel with correct offset is needed. The aluminum spacers need re-torqued periodically. Both have ratios from the 2's to the 4's available with 3.73 being the most common and is the automatic overdrive unit.

The Colorado unit I’m looking at is a 2012 with 3.73. Does the hub center fit the AD wheels ok? Just the studs that need changed out?

What year explorer rear do you use?

If the hub center is smaller than wheel ID, easy to make spacer!

Please forgive my general lack of info. about the chevy colorado. Is the FRONT end suspesion on a subframe, or is it a full frame truck?
I understand the wheel base numbers are different than the ADs, but I wondered about how close the front suspesion might be to an AD.
Thanks.

What I mean is, it's got to be some kind of a full frame, but does the mounting from the front suspension onto the colorado frame
look like something that could be cut out as a unit and grafted into a different frame? Has anyone heard of this being used?
