Can anyone comfirm this horn as being correct for the Task Force Trucks? I can't find this part number in any of my books. I've asked the owner and he's checking is information also.

the TF light trucks didn't have the long trumpet, at least not standard, and there isn't any other style listed as an option - also way different part # - may be an optional thing for mounting outside the cab on big trucks, or from earlier years

The instruction sheet he has shows it mounted below the drivers side horn on the core support pointing at the ground. The sheet is dated 8-55. He says it's not marked "12v" either which makes me think it's a 6v unit.

Listed as part # 9874443.
Looks like a sticky #4 key on the sellers keyboard..

I did find GM part # 987443 in my book.

It indicates
" 1956 Horn unit- vibrator-passenger "

I still don't have it shown in my 1929-1959 Parts Book. What book did you find it in?

Thanks!
