I took the Rochester Monojet off my 261 before having some engine work done. The carb sat for quite a while untouched. I put the carb back on as is since the carb was working just fine before the engine work (I know, I know.)
I think I lost what might have been a little piece that clamps on the cable sheath. So, is there a little clamping piece that should be attached to the hole with the arrow pointing to it in the pic?

This is what I found with a lot of other stuff. I have know idea from where it came. But the little piece on the end with the bolt should work. I still wonder if these are available.

Might look to motorcycle or bicycle parts for cable/housing stops, lots of options from their brakes and shifters, a clamp onto the side of the housing would be way down on the list of choices, in my view a true housing stop is much more reliable than a side clamp, ie: it does not compress on the side of the housing.
I see two Bowden cables. One for choke the other maybe hand throttle? The Monojet throttle lever was designed to connect to a throttle cable or a link from a bell crank. Your engine has a throttle rod so I guess it was modified to work somehow. A spring goes where your black arrow is shown. You may be missing a choke link.

Wally, If you search on the net "Throttle cable housing clamp", you're bound to find what you need.
